Sean F Murphy, CPA is the managing partner with over 25 years of experience. Sean provides personal and business consulting, accounting, tax planning and tax services to companies in a variety of industries including real estate, professional services, construction, not-for-profit and retail. He also specializes in complex tax issues.

Jeremy Held, CPA is the Tax Manager with over 14 years of experience in federal government contract audit compliance and consulting, cost accounting and personal business income tax preparation. He specializes in tax planning and tax return preparation as well as providing Internal Revenue Code interpretation services to small businesses and high net worth clients. Prior to joining SMCPA, Jeremy spent 4 years as a Senior Analyst with the Department of Defense (DoD), Defense Contract Management Agency and focused on matters relating to Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), incurred cost audits, forward pricing rates and the contractor business systems. Prior to that, he spent over 2 years as a consultant with Ernst & Young's Fraud Investigation & Dispute Services, Government Contact Services practice. He assisted clients primarily in the manufacturing industry on matters relating to contractor business systems, CAS, disclosure statements, FAR 31 Cost Principles, forward pricing and indirect cost allocations. Jeremy began his career as an auditor with the DoD, Defense Contract Audit Agency where he spent nearly 8 years auditing defense contractors throughout New England.

Mary Todesco joined SMCPA, LLC with having over 33 years’ experience. Prior to joining the SMCPA, LLC team, she was the Operations Manager for one of the largest hockey camp organizations in the world overseeing all budgets, forecasts, registrations and customer relations for over 7,000 campers. Prior to that, she was the controller of a large travel plaza, managing all employees and handling all accounting aspects for that organization. Mary has also owned and operated a local home heating oil distribution company for over 21 years, supervising employees and managing all the financial components which come with being a small business owner.
